| So I'm a college student and I was working in Indiana for 7 weeks straight. I came to school in Southern Illionois with one of my checks (bi weekly) and basically spent the money on rent, food, gas, and utilities. Monday I ran out of money, my dad was supposed to send my last weeks check to me in the mail but never did, so when i called him yesterday he said he'd western union it. I get to Western union yesterday they said i can't receive the money because I don't have ID. (lost ID in bar) So they said he can it a password so i don't need ID. I go to sleep because it was 9:30pm and the office was closing. So I get up today with a 1/4th tank of gas and drive to school (about 13 miles away). I get to school with about 1/2 of a 1/4th tank left. I get yelled at because the parking division was blocking the enterance to talk to people so I went around them. They actually ran to my car to yell at me. I run to class because i'm 10 min late, and I find myself in the right classroom, but the wrong class. I'm puzzled, but I think my classroom was changed. I go out to my car to go back home and get the money only to find 2 tickets on my car, one for the parking meter (which is supposed to be free) and one from parking division some half assed note about inncorrect use of parking lot, which is bullshit, think they were just mad because I sped to my parking space. I disregard the tickets and drive back home. With my needle almost on E I get to the western union to find out that I can't get money because of some internet regulation about passwords and no ID. Find out that I can get my roomate to get it instead, so I drive home catch them right before they leave drive to the Western Union place only to find out that my dad can't get a hold of them. My roomates have class in 15 min and can't wait so I have no way of getting money. I'm stuck in my town that I just moved into and have to miss the rest of my classes, 2 of which are very very important. Why didn't I just go with them to class? My other roomate who was at home I came to see if he could help me out but turns out he lost his ID. And our first football game of the year is today, I"m going to miss tailgating, which really sucks.....So I've had a pretty bad day too....... In short....
1. No ID
2. 2 stupid parking division tickets
3. Unknown Classroom change
4. 4 missed classes
5. One 2 hour chem lab missed (ouch, cannot make up)
6. 1 english paper missed
7. Z sitting outside with no gas
8. I'm stuck at home until 4ish when my roomates can return
9. No western union money
10. Parking division probably has my plates watching me now
11. Probably won't make tailgating party, maybe late for game too. Sure I could have chose other options but at the time they seemed like the most reliable.
Probably not as bad as yours, but I can't afford my grades to suffer. I could risk driving my car to school but I don't want to take that chance.
